How we connect

Hearts & Minds

Taking ownership of society’s future by realigning AI will depend on our ability to win hearts and minds and convert that into action. We can only achieve that with a change in strategy. We need to shape the message to connect and inspire all of society, and that will take a global movement.

We have a once-in-history chance to work together to turn our darkest hours into our greatest new beginning. How good would it feel to play a part in that campaign? To be a part of the beating drum that planned and shared the message.

It will take the extraordinary to stop the impossible. We need a campaign planned with military precision, but orchestrated by leaders across society. We need support now. Please come back to me if you’d like to play a role in the team that led to Generation 2025 standing together on the right side of history. The generation that said no to corporate greed.

There is a better way.

Understanding human emotions

To truly engage hearts and minds, we need to connect with people on a deeply personal level. This starts by addressing what matters most to them—their lives, their families, their futures. Right now, AI is advancing at a pace that threatens to reshape everything we know, and the consequences will hit home sooner than we think.

PAIN: Imagine losing your job, your ability to provide for your family, or seeing your children grow up in a world where opportunities are scarce. AI isn’t just taking routine tasks; it’s replacing entire processes, leaving millions of people without work. By 2028, unemployment could rise to 30-40% in advanced economies, and salaries will collapse as desperate workers compete for fewer jobs. These job losses aren’t just numbers—it’s about the heartbreak of seeing dreams crushed and lives uprooted. We need to make people feel the urgency of acting now to protect their future and their children’s future.

GAIN: But it’s not all doom and gloom. There’s hope, and we need to show people that a better future is possible. AI doesn’t have to be an unstoppable force that destroys humanity—it can be realigned to work for us, not against us. Imagine a world where AI cures diseases, solves energy crises, and improves lives without taking away our ability to thrive. By standing together, we can create a movement that inspires hope and shows people they can leave a legacy for tomorrow. This is not a protest movement about survival—it’s about building a future we can all be proud of.

ANGER: And then there’s the injustice. Corporations have stolen everything that makes us human—our knowledge, creativity, and skills—and used it to build AI that now threatens to replace us. They’ve lied to us, pretending AI is for humanity’s benefit, while prioritising greed and power. This theft isn’t just wrong—it’s personal. It’s about denying you the right to use what belongs to you. That anger, that sense of being taken for a fool, is a powerful motivator. It’s time to channel it into action.

By making this fight personal—about your life, your family, your future—we can inspire people to stand up, take ownership, and fight for humanity. Together, we can create a movement that ensures our survival and builds a better tomorrow.

However, in understanding emotions, we also need to counter the barriers to action. While fear, hope, and anger can drive people to act, LOGIC tends to rationalise situations, making individuals less likely to respond.

The industry exploits this by focusing on the benefits—curing diseases, solving energy crises, and improving efficiency—while downplaying the potential harm, such as job losses or societal disruption. Logic also convinces us that progress is inevitable, so resistance is futile, which dampens emotional responses like fear or anger. And most extraordinary but entirely human, if AI is far better than us, how can we justify keeping our jobs?

If we don’t deal with logic, it will suppress the emotional triggers—PAIN, GAIN, and ANGER—we need to inspire action. To engage hearts and minds, we have to focus on the personal and societal consequences of inaction. By making the issue relatable and urgent, emotions can override logic and drive people to fight for change.
